Sustainable Packaging and Refill Stations

From the Concept of Re-Cycle to the Practice of Re-Use

Our product bottles are made from PET1, one of the most highly recyclable materials, alongside steel, aluminum, glass, and paper. While our pumps are also made from PET1, they contain an internal metal coil and a glass ball, which must be removed before recycling. Therefore, we highly encourage reusing the pump whenever possible.

Our ultimate goal is to shift from a recycling mindset to a reusing mindset. Through our product development process, we have realized the limitations of recycling. The recycling process requires a significant amount of energy, and in some regions, the necessary machinery or systems for proper recycling do not exist.

Even in a major city like London, soft plastics—commonly used for refills and marked as recyclable—will not be processed for recycling until 2027. Until then, they are simply sent to landfill.

Instead of relying on recycling, we believe in cherishing what we use, rather than treating items as disposable. In today’s world, throwing things away is seen as convenient, easy, and inexpensive. However, we want to encourage a small shift in perspective:

Take the extra step to wash and reuse.

Repair rather than discard.

Bring your own bottle and refill at a refill station.

It may seem inconvenient, but if we can make these small efforts, we can contribute to a better society.

We are committed to expanding the number of refill stations so that they can be more accessible to everyone.
